Perth Pork Products Ltd. is owned and operated by Fred and Ingrid de Martines, outside of Stratford, Ontario since 1979. As a family run business, their son Mark operates the farm by raising Berkshire, Tamworth, Mangalitsa, Wild Boar, and commodity pigs. The animals are raised humanely by providing plenty of space to live and grow, while they feast on the farm’s home grown hay and on a GMO free grain ration without the use of antibiotics, hormones or animal by-products. Fred is a certified Swine Specialist, with many years of farming experience in Canada, and the Netherlands.

For best cooking results:

Defrost your pork slowly in a refrigerator overnight and/or cold water until thawed.
Air the pork - especially vacuum packaged - to get rid of odors.
Season with salt and pepper before cooking.
Let meat ‘rest’ after cooking to ensure it is moist, tender and juicy.
