The Home Cook Division

My name is Rick, and I have a passion for good, sustainable, local food! To capture the growing desire for local food, I launched Local Logical Foods in 2006. With a history in the restaurant and service industry, I was ready to start my next adventure. For 14 years I have been providing chefs with LOCAL Ontario pork, beef and chicken to supply their restaurants, hotels and catering businesses.

After 30 years of teaching, my wife Mary Beth, has been making plans to retire at the end of June. Upon retirement, her goal was to add a ‘Home Cook’ Division to my business, Local Logical Foods.

​Fast forward to Covid-19, school closures, work from home, and now restaurant closures. This meant we had to JUMP START our ‘Home Cook’ division immediately. Now Local Logical Foods wants to provide you, the home cooks, with the same LOCAL Ontario pork, beef, and chicken delivered right to your door.
